The head of Gagauzia, Irina Vlah, together with the Agency Invest Gagauzia, held a work meeting with partners from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Moldova, Thomas Foerch and Veaceslav Sutchevici. During the discussion, the parties discussed the possibilities of implementing projects in order to develop the investment potential of Gagauzia.

The GIZ provided valuable technical support during the establishment of the Investment Promotion Agency, which has already contributed to the opening of several new enterprises in the Autonomy.

“Industrialization and development of the IT sector are our priorities in developing the economy and creating stable jobs in the Autonomy. We need to create attractive jobs with opportunities for personal and career growth for our talented young people - in this way we can convince them to connect their future with Gagauzia,” said Irina Vlah.

In turn, the director of the Agency Invest Gagauzia, noted that GIZ has been a key and reliable partner for more than two years and joint work is already bringing positive results: “We hope that our cooperation will continue and we will be able to implement many projects aimed at the economic development of the Autonomy,” said Natalia COJOCAR.
