Today, at the initiative of Invest Gagauzia, was held a working meeting between the Agency, the mayors of the settlements of the ATU Gagauzia and representatives of the industrial companies of the autonomy. Earlier, the Agency received requests from regional entrepreneurs about the availability of a large number of vacant places and the need for employment of residents of the autonomy. In this regard, a platform was created to discuss and generate solutions for informing and attracting pepole of the autonomy to employment. Within the framework of this event, it was decided to systematize such meetings and establish active cooperation between regional, local authorities and business.

"There are about 500 vacant jobs in Gagauzia today, only in four large enterprises. Another 150 jobs will be opened by the end of the year. Our task, together with companies and mayors, is to inform citizens and provide them with jobs," said Natalia Cojocar, Director of the Agency for Attracting Investments and Promoting Exports of the ATU Gagauzia .
