Philosophy: Bostavan Winery perfectly combines winemaking traditions with modern technologies. The soil that nourishes the vine, the sun that penetrates all the grapes and the synergy with nature are already present on the vineyards cared for with the greatest care; it only remains to join our endless appreciation of the traditions of winemaking placed in parallel with the advantages of modern technologies. A deep understanding of the soul and character of wine, along with an attentive attitude to its vocation, is what builds the profession of winemakers at Bostavan Winery, a profession steeped in love and an unceasing aspiration for perfection. Location of the vineyards: Onești microzone , part of the region with controlled origin Codru(center). and the Etulia microzone , part of the region of controlled origin Trajan's Valley (south). Vineyards: White vines: Chardonnay, Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc, Aligote, Pinot Gris and Traminer. Red vines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Saperavi and Cabernet Franc. Total area of the winery: 850 hectares
Vinification: White wines are fermented in stainless steel vats, in a controlled thermal regime, and matured for up to 6 months in oak barrels. Red wines are fermented in oak buds, in a controlled temperature regime, and matured for 6-12 months in oak barrels. Production capacity (9000m2): - 2 modern bottling lines with a speed of 12,000 bottles / hour; - 2 bag filling lines in the box with a capacity of 560 pcs / hour; Processing capacity: 20,000 tons of grapes per season Storage volume: 15 million liters of wine |
