As part of speech at the INVEST GAGAUZIA 2021international forum, H.E. Mr. Uldis MIKUTS Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Republic of Moldova noted:

“The transition to a market economy was a path of attempts and a lot of mistakes, in order to go this path people are important, people with vision and motivation. Vision plays a big role in any development, be it a region or a global world.

Latvia and Gagauzia are already cooperating, and we would like even more. We try to share our knowledge and experience, which, in our opinion, can be useful for the region. We also inform those Latvian companies that could expand their business here.

In Gagauzia people live with a vision of the future and long-term plans, which are not only a declarative form, but also take practical steps for the development of the region itself and the life of society. We feel that here, a good business climate, we see that our experience and people are welcome here. It reassures us that we can find a way forward. "
